She lays awake through the night, all her hopes and dreams lost. The wars she has witnessed, her mind plagued of pain and suffering touching all her soul. All the miracles she delivered, being taken by those she once loved.

She gave us everything, all our dreams and wonder. Our mentor in life, now betrayed. We call her mother, but we no longer show her our love. She taught us empathy, for all of her nature…but what in return do we offer?

She lay broken and in pieces, suffering from all of our abuse. The clouds cry out her pain, her oceans and wind seek respite and love. She questions her purpose, searching in hope for her suffering to end. Awaiting her children to reignite all her hopes and dream, but already laid in waiting over lifetimes now gone.

Our Mother Earth wants to lay down her head for a final time, for she can take no more. Her cries for help have whispered through the skies unheard. As man continue to destruct all she has created.

She weeps for her oceans, rising from all the tears she has lost. Her breath panics, as the winds ravage through lands where trees once stood. She is in her final moments, before we will need to give her final eulogy.

All our Mother hopes of those she once loved, is to show her empathy for all her creation.

Deep and raw words that woke with me this morning (September 27th 2020). A call for help from our mother earth, calling all of us to have empathy for all she provides.
