Be You, Just You

handwritten

Be you. Just you.⠀
Not her. Not him.⠀
Just simply you. ⠀
For if you, are not you.⠀
Who are you?⠀
Do I know you? ⠀

But if you are you.⠀
And just you.⠀
Then I might.⠀
I might just like you.⠀
For you. Just you.⠀
So please, simply be you.

A self love affirmation, because sometimes we need to remind ourselves who we are and most importantly also to believe in who we truly are inside. For instance, you never know who might just like, or even love you…for just being you!

Therefore, try to take a few moments today to realign with your inner self, in order to find gratitude and love. Firstly, for you.

Inside Another Sky

Darkness, clouds…of doubt they form
Mind, cluttered…no respite outside born
Hope, manifested…there is another sky⠀
Eyes, closed…dive through minds eye⠀
Love, compassion…in self restored

A poem about meditation, a practice available to all of us. Meditation allows us to find another sky, another ocean…another anything.

Look inside in order to find the beauty that at times we can’t see outside.⠀

The World Through Your Eye

handwritten

The world is not a creation,
It is a simple manifestation,
One of mind…for your eye,
For only you…
it will ever truly be.

Although I used to write regularly in 2020, I have not written any original poetry for some time. I missed it and wanted to, but I could not find the words. When I look back I realise that it was not the time to release my voice, but was a time for me to reflect back on my personal journey. Above all, that is awakening…isn’t it? We travel through waves of life to let go of the past, in order to move forward with our purpose.

So, these words written today is a reminder to us. To make sure that as we do awaken, we appreciate that not everyone will understand us, or how we see the world…and we have to accept that. So long as you see it, and in yourself you see the beauty unseen by others.

Always remember, you can manifest the world you wish to see…

A Perfect Collision of Elements

You are a miracle, a perfect collision of elements.
A constant reminder that we are all unique metaphors of creation itself.
If you believe in your own miracle,
what other miracles in this life should you believe…

@the_wildwolf
reflection

What miracles do you believe in? I truly want to hear more about the daily miracles we see in our lives. This really is a poem about self love, so please each day remember the miracle you truly are…

A Poem to Live and Love

Tomorrow may never come,
Yesterday already been and done,
Live and love today as if your last,
Memories become new stories past.

Many of us can easily get caught looking back, and also looking forward. However, we then miss out on actually living and experiencing today. What we do today creates memories of our past, and changes what tomorrow may bring. So today, this poem about life is to remind all of us, to create new memories, and live life to the fullest.

Dreams Can Come True

A hope, a dream, a wish…
they all begin with the seed of thought,
but it’s the power of your belief
that will see them come true.

We all have dreams and wishes for our life, but how many times have we never seen them through. It’s down to each of us, to believe in our dreams to make sure they come true.

The Wild World Cries

handwritten

Lions, Tigers, Sharks…man scared of the predator,
but who in reality holds the trigger.
Homes across lands and seas destroyed,
nature fighting for survival while man snigger.

The beauty of the world disappearing,
every minute and every hour of every day.
Who had the right to take their land,
leaving nature homeless without their say.

Wildlife fighting for the scraps that remain,
whilst man cover the land with concrete and cattle.
Listen to the wild world cry through the sky,
for it is our call to help support their battle.

A deep and raw climate change poem, that will hopefully touch us all. Just remember, that with every decision we make, we need to consider our world and the impact we have on all life on our earth.

Return the World Wild

handwritten

I wish never to see, the end product of man.
The world in ashes, all life become a sham.
For it was naivety of mankind, that lit the flame.
Lost respect for nature, eyes burned with greed to blame.
Attenborough our witness, his truth no longer mild.
The answer given to us all, return the world’s wild.
Time is running out, but the clock is still ticking.
Let us be the change, it’s only our empathy missing.

After listening to David Attenborough’s wise words in “A life on Our Planet”, I needed to write this climate change poem. As we can no longer be blind to the truth that is all around us. Isn’t it time for us all to wake up? If you haven’t seen it, watch it…we still have time to restore and protect our earth, but time is running out. What small things could you do today to make a difference?

To help you see the truth, to see the changes needed I have embedded the video link below for you. Please do share your emotions and suggestions for change with us on this page.

Let us all be the change!

It can seem difficult at times, but once you accept yourself then you will find yourself.
