The hardest decision in life, is the one to accept yourself.

It can seem difficult at times, but once you accept yourself then you will find yourself.

River Beds of Your Sanity

handwritten

Rain pounding on the rooftop,
Every drop a thought, a memory over time,
Quickly filling the reservoir of your mind,
Conflicting, challenging your dreams,
As you seek comfort and shelter,
Under the blanket, duvet or even umbrella,
To block the carnage of the storm,
While awaiting the sun to break free,
To dry those breached river beds of your sanity,
Soon you will see the rainbow in the skies,
A symbol of hope and happiness,
Showing that through all darkness,
…there will always be light.

Just a reminder that through everything, weather, pain, hurt there is always miracles and light.

Battle of Full Moon

handwritten

Full moon has arrived, all suppressed awoken.
The bell has rung, the troops are armed.
Not visible to the eye, this war beyond the eyes.
A war of words, through darkness and light.
All dreams at risk, for the moon has charged.
Attacking with blows, to all that you hold.
Everything you believe, challenged and bleeding.
This battle will be fought, no white flag in sight.
The whispers disappearing, battle cries now heard.
Wounded soldiers falling, only time will tell.
What will be left, after the final bell.

Full moon upon us,
Let your inner wolf free, with all your might.
Release all that holds you,
Free your dreams, and step into the light.

Full moon coming on 1st October a time to let go of all the past pain and hurt. A time to free yourself…time to start living your life again.

I am short, but I think tall.

reflection

No matter who you are or what you are, if you believe in something then you can achieve anything. I am short and that can’t be denied, but my thoughts and mind always think big. Stay positive no matter what.

A Climate Change Poem - Mother Earth's Wish

image

Background photo supplied by veeterzy on Unsplash

handwritten

She lays awake through the night, all her hopes and dreams lost. The wars she has witnessed, her mind plagued of pain and suffering touching all her soul. All the miracles she delivered, being taken by those she once loved.

She gave us everything, all our dreams and wonder. Our mentor in life, now betrayed. We call her mother, but we no longer show her our love. She taught us empathy, for all of her nature…but what in return do we offer?

She lay broken and in pieces, suffering from all of our abuse. The clouds cry out her pain, her oceans and wind seek respite and love. She questions her purpose, searching in hope for her suffering to end. Awaiting her children to reignite all her hopes and dream, but already laid in waiting over lifetimes now gone.

Our Mother Earth wants to lay down her head for a final time, for she can take no more. Her cries for help have whispered through the skies unheard. As man continue to destruct all she has created.

She weeps for her oceans, rising from all the tears she has lost. Her breath panics, as the winds ravage through lands where trees once stood. She is in her final moments, before we will need to give her final eulogy.

All our Mother hopes of those she once loved, is to show her empathy for all her creation.

Deep and raw words that woke with me this morning (September 27th 2020). A call for help from our mother earth, calling all of us to have empathy for all she provides.

Thy Artists Name

handwritten

Painting by day and night,
creating finer art than any brush in sight.
Producing in it’s simple nature,
the finest symphonies with little gesture.
Ocean is thy artists name,
its passions seeking no fortune or fame.
So all man should act with virtue,
repaying their debts to nature long overdue.

Yesterday you were beautiful - a love poem

handwritten

Yesterday you were beautiful,
Tomorrow you will be gorgeous.
But today, that moment our eyes met smiling,
Your cheeks glowing and dimples on show.
How can such beauty and feeling,
be portrayed by a lonely word.
For none yet exists to explain,
Your essence in this world.
