The Pain of Love

Tears won’t escape me,
Keep flooding inside,
Can love cause this pain?
Feelings failing to subside.

Hippy of the Sea

handwritten

Tears flow, without you by my side.
Guilt of pains I caused, never hide.
Living each day roaming, forever lost.
My heart to you, was always the cost.
Still holding the key, to all of my soul.

You’re my hippy of the sea…
…together, we become whole.

Who has had that feeling when you lose the one you love, and forever live in hope that one day they choose to love you the same again?

Was the Love True?

b&w
image
handwritten

Memories crashing like the ocean waves,
Love and laughter to be taken to our graves,
Forever the pain of our lost times last,
Missing the memories planned in the past,
Twin soul’s hopes and dreams…all seem lost,
Was the love true? Or meant to turn to dust?

Anyone else going through this? We all meet someone in our life that changes all the world around us, and within us. Time stops, and we see all of our life there in that moment. But then it disappears, it is all over and we are left trying to understand…the why?!

Seed of Doubt

A seed of doubt,
thoughts unspoken…
all it took,
for our love story to be broken.

reflection

How many people can relate to this break up poem? Relate to having had unspoken words that have broken their love. At the time we feel that if thoughts had been spoken, that maybe they could have changed everything. However, who is to say that there isn’t a more truer love story destined for you in the future?

A Lover’s Journey to Ocean Core

handwritten

His eyes stole my tranquil poise,
A deep swirling sea of turquoise,
I swam naked within his iris shore,
Wish to dive deep into his ocean core,
Battling the tides to his soul within,
A journey not to be taken on a whim,
For the deep waters hold much pain,
Shipwrecks of past memory still remain,
Lays in wait for her to complete the dive,
His treasured soul hopes for her to survive.

reflection

I have always believed that the eyes are the gateway to the soul, but sometimes there is always the journey through hidden past pains to find the treasure within.

The Past Demons of Love

handwritten

His words caressed my mind,
His touch shivered my spine,
His arms comforted my soul,
His empathy supported me whole,
His lips kissed away my scars,
His belief showed me the stars,
His passion released my inhibition,
His mind empowered my mission,
His love released my inner fears,
Our past demons…
broke us in tears!

reflection

Sometimes we find love when we least expect it. And, sometimes we love like never before. However, sometimes that love and connection is not enough to overcome the suppressed emotions of past, and it can end in tears. Just always try to remember, what was felt was love, and those memories will live on.

We all need to make sure that we deal with our past demons and learn to love ourselves, before we fall so deep in love with another.

Rain Drops Falling Upon My Cheek

handwritten

Rain drops falling upon my cheek,
It’s ocean eyes from which they leak.
A sign of strength they all say,
Truth is these are for the debts to repay.

Heart shattered many moons ago,
Fear it could never take another blow,.
Until a wanderer of the sea arrived,
With her magic the heart revived.

Every beat now bursting with love,
Before fear formed around like a glove.
Grip squeezed and tightened its hold,
Still vulnerable is the truth to be told.

Unable to explain the battle inside,
Until only the fear was left to reside.
So, the rain drops falling tell the story,
Of a man who proved himself no glory.

His revived heart now divided in two,
Forever knowing her love found was true…

Is Love True?

b&w

handwritten

Love is unknown, for the emotion is never taught.
Love is painful, through memory of all past fought.
Love is confusing, a collision of hope and fear.
Love is anxious, with answers the ears do not always hear.
Love is shy, sometimes masked under veil.
Love is real, when two souls wish for it to prevail.
Love is forever…
when you know inside it’s TRUE!

@the_wildwolf
reflection

The saying love is blind, will never truly explain the most difficult emotion we could ever understand. Love can mean many things, but sometimes it’s hard to realise through all the other emotions combining in a perfect storm. This poem about love is just a slight insight into what love can be…

Love Through the Ocean Eyes

handwritten

At times we question, the words we hear.
Sometimes a result, of your love or fear.

Maybe through a life, of pain its cause.
Look through the ocean eyes, and take pause.

For the soul deep within, is unable to lie.
And the love you’ve felt there…
…it will never die.

@the_wildwolf
reflection

The past few poems have focused on calling for help to heal the world, but this evening’s words are back to a poem about love. In particular, how we question others feelings because of our own pains inside. Sometimes we just need to look deeper within them, to find the trust in their love.
